Panic Puzzle Program:

Can it be a Great Panic Relief?

In a situation where in one experiences fear and stress, the body’s normal reaction is to panic. Usually, the fear starts abruptly when triggered by a stimulus but it normally lasts for only a few minutes. However, there are times when panic attacks happen even when one is not in a frightening situation. Such cases are known as anxiety disorder, a form of psychological disorder in which the panic attacks are caused by irrational fear.

When this happens, a person may experience symptoms like shortness of breath, excessive sweating, hot flushes, dizziness, and chest pains. The signs are so close to that of a heart attack that many who experience panic attacks become more scared as they think they are about to die. They say that the best panic relief is to keep one calm, it can be really difficult to do especially if there is no one around to help and reassure the panicking individual. That is why many who have these attacks and were not given the right panic relief methods usually ends up having severe cases of anxiety and phobia.

A person suffering from panic attacks should be provided with a greater kind of panic relief than just keeping calm as one needs to be able to over come the fear and prevent it from inducing the anxiety. A lot of self help programs have been released in the market, all attempting to provide the best remedy for panic attacks. But perhaps one of the most publicized is the Panic Puzzle Program. It is available in two formats: the book and the audio CDs. This feature provides convenience to the participants as they can choose between the two. The audio format also comes with compiled transcripts for those who like to read while listening to the program. Written by Rich Presta, this motivational program aims to provide anxiety relief by educating those who experience panic attack with the right way to motivate oneself in order to not just calm down during attacks but get rid of its occurrence all together.

What’s great about the Panic Puzzle Program is that the approach that the author used is very different in a sense that he wanted the participants of the program to recognize the fear instead of fleeing from it. The whole basis of the program is to train the brain to recognize the fear and learn how to cope with it so that the next time the same kind of fear is triggered, the mind and the body will learn how to respond in a way that will not cause panic.

However, despite the difference in the approach, many still have qualms about this new technique for anxiety relief. Some may say that encouraging the mind to think about the fear by retracing what causes it may only build a clearer mental image and increase the intensity of fear. Nevertheless, the program remains firm in saying that only by recognizing one’s fear can he or she be able to address it and fight it.

I like comment from user who been able to use the program to get off anxiety attacks:

“There’s two moments in my life I’ll never forget. My first panick attack…
And my last one.”

Maybe this is the right program for you. I don’t know.
